Initiatives

The Alliance for Nursing Informatics proudly supports the opportunity for informatics nurses as leaders on board, panels and workgroups and futher recognizes that our members have the experience and thought leadership to fully represent ANI's mission and vision. ANI is frequently called upon to lend our collective voice bringing knowledge and expertise of nursing informatics professionals to advance the transformation of health and healthcare.

Given their knowledge and skills, nurse leaders need to have a greater voice on boards.  Nurse leaders know what is needed for the nursing staff to deliver greater value to the patients. The call to serve on boards is important because nurses provide a unique perspective in the healthcare arena.  ANI is proud to support nursing informatics leaders as respresentatives on serveral boards such as CARIN Alliance and Xcertia.
