AMIA Announces the 2024 Virginia K. Saba Informatics Awardee
Susan C. Hull, MSN, RN, NI-BC, NEA-BC, FAMIA, was selected for the American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA) Virginia K. Saba Informatics Award. She will be acknowledged at the AMIA 2024 Annual Symposium in San Francisco on November 12.
This Signature Award recognizes an individual’s distinguished career and significant impact on the care of patients and the discipline of nursing. The Virginia K. Saba Informatics Award honors a professional with exemplary principles and practices and a substantial record of contribution to the field of nursing informatics. - Focus in Nursing Informatics.
- Characteristics and achievements should include visionary leadership; global impact; and enduring contribution to nursing professional practice, education, administration, research, and/or health policy.
- Demonstrated commitment to AMIA through membership.
Susan is a Principal, Consumer Health Informatics, MITRE Labs, Health and Society Innovation Center and is completing her 6th year (3rd consecutive term) as the Co-Chair for the Alliance for Nursing Informatics.
